I bought a fairly cheap bone conduction headset for biking. Headset is ok with audible app and tidal. Using Voice-app it seems that when there is silence in the stream sometimes the headset sort of turns off for a short time. It then comes back, but some content is lost. When using the feature "skip silence" this does not happen. Not every content exposes this problem to the same extent. Maybe there's something that can be done about it in software.
How to reproduce
Listen to Audio-Book with specific headset. If necessary I can do some Testing with tailor-made audio files.

I've got a similar issue (mine's with a Samsung usb-c to 3.5mm adaptor). I think that setting volume boost (even to a very low value like 0.2) has fixed it.
Hmm. I think it's improved it but not fixed it. A fix probably would involve Voice injecting some very low volume noise into silences to avoid the headset turning off.
