Hello,
I believe these items in the hosts file (at https://github.com/StevenBlack/hosts/blob/master/hosts) are incorrect.

There are TLDs that may not be correct:

This one I am not sure about:

  • xn----7sbhgfcdscaa3cdd6dq3e3dvf.xn--p1ai

PS - I am using the hosts list in a different way and I am removing the "0.0.0.0" from each line. It there a generic list available without the IP addresses? Something like this snippet?

Thank you, Jon

Hello! Thank you for opening your first issue in this repo. It’s people like you who make these host files better!

That is a valid domain; it is the Punycode representation of надёжные-инвестиции.рф
Thanks

I did not know punycode applied to TLDs also. I thought it was just domains. Thank you!

WHOIS lookup thinks that the following domains are malformed:

www.pl.com exist however.

Do I need to do something different?

I thought adding these domains to the Issues list was the right thing to do. I am guessing that a validation check is not catching the "pl-com" domain. If I just need to be patient that is OK...

The 4 domains should probably be removed, or maybe checking git logs for related issues that added them
