segmented button command error

when trying to add any command to a segmented button, i get the error
TypeError: BodyMapInterface.init..() takes 0 positional arguments but 1 was given
or something similar: i've tried simple methods without parenthesis and lambda methods and neither work

i see now that this is because the value is passed in as an argument by default: this needs to be reflected in the documentation imo
