[Feature Request] Split by sentence instead of paragraph

Is there any chance would you let the user choose an option to split by sentence for later translation? Additionally, it would be great for the translated text placed as the footnotes of a paragraph (or sentence).
By the way, is there any guidance for contributing to the repo? I'm new to Calibre's plugin development field, and I found an interest in it.

We do not think this approach is a good idea, as splitting sentences lacks context compared to an entire paragraph. If this is the idea you have in mind, could you please provide more details about the purpose?

This suggestion is very interesting, and we have decided to try to implement it in a future version.

If you have no experience with Calibre plugin development, you can refer to Calibre's development documentation to set up a Calibre development environment. Then, you can refer to the "Writing Your Own Plugin" tutorial to become familiar with the plugin development process. Eventually, you can consult the "API documentation for plugins", the "API documentation for the database interface", or even the Calibre's source code to access the functionalities you need.
