Hi,
I am getting an error when trying to use the smart chat. It tells me to"API Error. See console logs for details."
I have my open AI key in fine and it says it's valid. I also have money on the account and its working in my other AI tools.

This is a screen shot of the console. Can someone please help me work out how to fix this :). I'm not a techie so I'll need the for dummies version of explanations if possible!

Not only openai, google have the same 400 request. Restart the obsidian may solve it for a moment, but the error will occured soon.

Thanks for the reply. :)

So this is not something i am doing but something for the plugin to resolve?

Cheers
Lisa

不只是openai,google也有同样的400请求。重启黑曜石可能会暂时解决,但很快就会出现错误。

谢谢回复。 :)

所以这不是我正在做的事情而是插件需要解决的事情?

400 errors are usually caused by regional restrictions. Both Google Gemini and Open AI have their own regional restrictions, and if you are restricted, you need to use a proxy.

However, Obsidian itself does not have a proxy function, and even using Clash's TUN mode cannot solve this problem. If you use a third-party proxy, it may solve the problem.

I encountered a similar problem when using the Copilot plugin, but the problem was solved when I used a third-party proxy for the Open AI custom API.

In addition, ChatBox can use Google Gemini normally under Clash's TUN mode.
