Describe the problem

The desktop client doesn't seem to support AVIF format images. It works in the web version as most browsers support it.

It doesn't allow me to upload avif formatted images, so here's a link to lots of FOSS examples: https://github.com/link-u/avif-sample-images

Describe the solution you'd like

I expect this to render instead of giving an error like the image below.
