Describe the bug

I enjoy using the cinny client, I really do, but unfortunately I'm going to have to uninstall it because I can't use it without cinny rendering my entire system unsable.

Reproduction

Any time cinny loads a room with a lot of messages, there is a chance the client will freeze. Sometimes it will take the entire system (plasma shell, display, io) with it and if it doesn't recover the only way I can get back in is if I do a hard reboot.

I personally had similar experiences due to i965 lock-ups, which somehow is only triggered by cinny in KDE. Haven't found a reliable reproducer for that one yet, but I'll post dmesg here if I manage to
