"Clip Skip" doesn't seem to work for SDXL (has no effect), which may be causing some models to not generate well. (Some models claim to require it.)

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Select an SDXL model
  2. Generate an image with "Clip Skip" turned off
  3. Turn off "Random" for the seed
  4. Click on "Clip Skip" to turn it on
  5. See that the exact same image is created.

Expected behavior
The image should be significantly different depending upon the switch.

  • OS: Windows 11
  • Browser: Edge
  • Version: v3.0.7 (beta)

I thought it's only applicable to SD1.x, not even SD2.
Although it does affect SD2 results a little.

I used to think so too, but some XL models specifically suggest (or in one case, require) the option. Perhaps A1111 is doing something different or an equivalent operation?
