Discord would be a much better place to ask questions like this. |

In my project I use an esp8266 on nodemcu. I'm out of "good" PINs but need another PIN. I would like to use PIN D4 (GPIO2). I need to connect this PIN to a relay and I need it to be LOW under normal conditions. However I read that PIN D4 must be HIGH at boot otherwise the boot fails. Is there a setting on EspHome that allows you to set the PIN to LOW after startup? In fact, I can accept that for a few moments (at boot) the PIN is HIGH and the relay is closed as long as it then opens.
