Description

I have recently switched from Glances 3 to 4 and all my widgets have been updated with "version: 4" and they all work apart from the sensor widget

If i restart Homepage container, the widget works at the start but after a few seconds the error is thrown.

I’d guess the problem is something like the fact that sensor: Package id 0 has changed. You’d need to look into your glances install / api and see what it’s returning and if it’s changed or not

It's still listed as that in the API Endpoint output, and it works for the first few ticks.

Changing from sensor: Package id 0 to sensor: Core 1 does not throw an error, but is not ideal. Even when the error is being thrown, using curl http://glances:61208/api/4/sensors/label/Package%20id%200 still yields correct values {"Package id 0":[{"label":"Package id 0","unit":"C","value":46,"warning":100,"critical":100,"type":"temperature_core","key":"label"}]}

The error suggests at least sometimes the data returned is different than that. If you look at the network calls in your browser are there any calls for the sensor where there’s an error returned or different data?

Out of pure luck, I just had curl return {"Package id 0":[]} instead of {"Package id 0":[{"label":"Package id 0","unit":"C","value":46,"warning":100,"critical":100,"type":"temperature_core","key":"label"}]} so I'm guessing that's the problem

Yea that’s exactly the kinda thing that’d do it. I suppose it could be handled on the homepage side but it does sorta seem like a bug from glances. We can see what happens over there first
