I'm wanting to parse an .ics file and immediately hoped jc would have such a parser but it doesn't. Would you be open to an ics parser being added to jc?

If so, would it be acceptable to add a dependency such as https://github.com/collective/icalendar (which itself only depends on python-dateutil and pytz), or would it be important to you that the parser add no dependencies?

Hi there - yes, this has been on my list of parsers. Like you mentioned, I'd like to keep from any additional dependencies like dateutil or pytz, though.
