Summary

It would be great to have a visitor profile notes input. That will help matomo users to track all the visitor profiles across all url accounts. This feature also handy for the project security reasons to monitor those users that masking they IPs, attempting brutal site access, spamming or fake account creations and logins.

Visitors profile notes can contain such information as you have already implemented in your current matomo application plus ability to add some notes next to the visitor profile which help identify such visitor by various definition features.

For example if visitor attempting create multiple accounts we can add some notes next to this returning visitor saying: " Visitor with this IP, Geo Location, City or OS detected as a vulnerable visitor and that gives a clear indication to all matomo users to take a preventive measures regarding such suspicious visitors across various projects. Next time same visitor apears with the "vulnerable" notes can be simply ignored or reported to the system administration team.

The visitor profile notes input box can be created on the same tab as you have already created "View Visitor Profile

Hi @Webmaklay,
Thanks for creating this suggestion. Matomo currently doesn't allow to store anything on a visitor level. Everything is stored on visit or action level at the moment. There is only a visitorid / userid that connects certain visits to a visitor (profile).
Anyway I guess this request is similar to #21156
