In many cases you would want an emoji as part of a text. However, when trying to do so, any message you've already typed instead disappears, and only the emoji is sent immediately.

I'd like to propose the following:
Instead of directly sending the emoji after clicking it, instead insert it into the text area. Then the user can do what they want; send it together with a text, or send only the emoji if they want.
