How to know if tasks has been completed in Frontend.

I have frontend application that can add the documents / clear documents from index.

Since every tasks in meilisearch is asynchronous, and the tasks gets added to queue how do FE knows that the tasks has been completed, since it returns status as enqueued.

Also it does have api to check the status but, I should poll this api every time after tasks has been enqueued to know if tasks has been completed?

Questions:

• how to know if the tasks has been completed or not without polling, is there any time limitation after which I can call above api to know the status of tasks??

@curquiza I'm using JS sdk, nestjs to be precise. and consuming the data via api on fe.

I;m not sure how the flow will look like..

we add documents to index

it will send the reqest to another url? how to listen those

@adarshaacharya, it's up to you to define the URL to which you want Meilisearch to send the information, so it's your program that will listen this URL
