Why does next-auth ignore the update call if unauthenticated? We are currently patching the
!session
portion out of the next-auth implementation, to get around this issue.Is there any way we can add this as possible (maybe as an options flag to the
update
method?It seems relatively simple to re-implement if you want to replicate it -- just check if the user is authenticated before calling update. The inverse is much more difficult.
