Migrating to Material Components (a prerequisite for Material 3 #4674) offers a consistent design language, access to new components, dynamic theming capabilities, improved accessibility, ease of use, and future-proofing OM. This migration will eventually aid in providing a better UX, a cohesive interface, and ensuring the app stays up-to-date with the latest design trends and features.

Sub Tasks:

  • Migrate AppCompatActivity
  • Migrate AlertDialog
  • Migrate SwitchCompat
  • Migrate AppCompatResources
  • Migrate Toolbar
  • Migrate RadioButton
  • Migrate attrs/colors/themes
  • Migrate the remaining components
