Import-PnPTaxonomy - TermStoreErrorCodeEx:There is already a term with the same default label and parent term. How do I troubleshoot this error?

Hi All,

I have been using Import-PnPTaxonomy without issue for the last couple of months for a large term store I am working on, using-pathto provide it with a text file with my term store data.

I now seem to be getting this error suddenly: TermStoreErrorCodeEx:There is already a term with the same default label and parent term.

Does anyone have any advice on what I should be looking at here to avoid this error?

It provides a line number for the error, is this the line number of the text file? I've tried deleting the numbered row from my text file and that does often change the line number provided, but it seems to suddenly have problems with many of my terms.

Some examples:
Exception on line 88: TermStoreErrorCodeEx:There is already a term with the same default label and parent term.
Exception on line 98: TermStoreErrorCodeEx:There is already a term with the same default label and parent term.
Exception on line 101: TermStoreErrorCodeEx:There is already a term with the same default label and parent term.

For reference my text file is 2070 lines long, so 100 is only a tiny fraction of the way through the file
