When pausing on a frame the expected behaviour is for the video controls (play, pause etc.) to stay for a short while before hiding to leave the frame in full-view without obfuscation. Currently the video controls persist with no fade-out.

Additionally video controls ideally should be hidden/un-hidden when the user taps on the paused frame however this does not occur as the video controls are persistent.

These expected behaviours can be visualised in almost all video apps on mobile such as YouTube, VLC etc. if illustration is needed.
